Care instructions

What are the care instructions for your cutting boards?

The care instructions for the cutting boards are pretty simple. Wash the board with warm water and a little bit of mild soap. Do not put any of the boards in the dishwasher! Try not to leave any of the boards submerged in water for too long.

After a few washes you might need to use a little bit of mineral oil or our board butter to help protect the board. All of the boards are made of combinations of hardwoods so they are very durable. If you have any issues don’t hesitate to contact us

What about your kitchen utensils?

The care instructions for our kitchen utensils are pretty much the same as the cutting boards. Wash your utensils with warm water and a little bit of mild soap. Do not put any of your utensils in the dishwasher and try not to leave any of them submerged in water for too long.

Other than that, after a few washes you might need to use a little bit of mineral oil or our board butter to help protect your utensils. All of the utensils are made of local Michigan hardwoods so they are very durable. If you have any issues don’t hesitate to contact us

What are the care instructions for our fiber goods?

The care instructions for our fiber goods very from project to project. For the most part any of the woven, knit and crocheted good can be machine washed in cold delicate cycle with a mild detergent. To dry them we suggest either tumble drying them on low or laying them flat to dry.

If your piece is made of wool we suggest not washing any wool products unless necessary. If you do have to wash it we suggest spot cleaning first and if it is a big mess then you can hand wash it in cold water and lay it flat to air dry. Too much heat or agitation will tend to shrink or felt wool pieces!

All of our fiber goods are pre-washed prior to purchase .

For our plushies, we suggest vacuuming the dust off them if they get dusty but other than that they should be pretty easy to spot clean. We don’t recommend machine washing the plushies because it might damage their structure. If you have any issues don’t hesitate to contact us!
